Establishes "John R. Lewis Voter Empowerment Act of New Jersey"; appropriates $2.5 million.*

Establishes civilian review boards to review complaints against police officers.

Requires each county to establish inmate reentry services committee

Allows for immediate transport of person by local law enforcement officers under certain circumstances

Requires AG to establish law enforcement officer use of force data collection reporting and collection reporting and collection system. 

Provides for student recipients of educational opportunity funds to be exempt from 20 hour weekly work requirement ordinarily required for student SNAP participation. 

Racial and Socioeconomic Integration of NJ’s Public Schools

"Climate Superfund Act"; imposes liability on certain fossil fuel companies for certain damages caused by climate change and establishes program in DEP to collect and distribute compensatory payments.

Prohibits use of education, occupation and credit score as rating factors in automobile insurance underwriting.

Amends State Constitution to prohibit slavery or involuntary servitude

Revises eligibility for convicted drug offenders to receive general assistance benefits under Work First New Jersey program

Establishes law enforcement procedures for responding to immigration detainer and certain requests issued by federal immigration authorities.
